Feng Shui Bedroom Layout Tips
* Never keep water in the bedroom. Water produces too many emotions and it also depicts lack of passion. Avoid keeping a fountain or aquarium in your bedroom.
* Check the positioning of the door and windows–Chi tends to flow between the door and any of the windows. Never place your bed in this line as it lacks chi.
* Place the bed as far away as possible from the front door.
* Never sleep on the bed with the window near the back of your head. Instead, sleep with a solid wall behind your head.
* Avoid placing your bed under a beam in the ceiling.
* Place a low night stand or a low table to the right of the bed. ThisĀ symbolizes your readiness to spring into action when the need arises.
* Try not to place any electronic items, including televisions, electric alarm clocks, in your bedroom. In case you can’t help this, then cover them during the night, while you are asleep.
* If you share your bed with someone, then place the bed equidistant from the walls on both the sides.
* Colors are very important in driving chi towards you and your space. Select the colors of bedsheets, decorative pieces, curtains and bedroom wall colors carefully, after considering every aspect.
* Keep the area near your bed clean.
* A bedroom mirror reflecting the bed can bring serious problems. Place the mirror in a way so that you can see the reflection of the front door in it.
You should never site in your office with the back to the door. Even if this means sacrificing your personal luckiest direction, do not sit with your back to the door. Instead, choose the second best position.
Sitting with your back to the door causes cheating or frauds and also lack of control. This is because the main door is not in your view and so symbolically, you will lose control. Additionally, you are also pushing away potential new business opportunities.
So, always choose a position in which you face the main door of your office.
