No Mirror Opposite the Front Door
Mirrors should not be kept directly opposite the main door of the house. Such a practice is very harmful as this results in the reflecting back of the good chi (energy) that enters from the main door. It is reflected back and escapes out of the door.
In some cases, some Feng Shui or Vaastu experts may advice placing a mirror in front of the main door. This should be avoided since it doesn’t do good to the people living in the home.
An entrance to a blank wall is bad, but this type of correction to create depth by means of a mirror, is very wrong. The right correction is to affix a scenery of depth on the opposite wall. It can be a scene of a road or path meandering and going deep into the forest, mainly to create the feeling of depth symbolically.

Hi Laura!
If you have placed a mirror opposite the main door, you should remove it immediately. Consider placing it elsewhere. If it is not possible to remove it, cover it using a cloth–that will help.
