Feng Shui to handle annoying peers
Feng Shui can create the right harmony and ensure that you do not have problems at work. Here are some simple Feng Shui tips to handle annoying peers:
* Ensure you don’t sit with your back to the entrance/exit. Try to add more lights ( if you can) to your work desk in the form of desk lamps. You could place small plants with round leaves on your desk. A bamboo plant in water is considered to bring good luck when placed on the the northern side of your desk. A whiff of freshness that could be brought about by spraying air fresheners, especially lime or citronella based-flavors, could dispel the negative chi around your workspace.
* Add colors in the form of pin ups or posters (it could be motivational posters too). You could even have small hand towels on your chair arm rest with yang colors like red, yellow and orange. Colors like Green and purple symbolize wealth and would be more appropriate for those in sales.
* If you are permitted to display some Feng Shui symbols at your workplace, then placing an amethyst gem tree enhances the good relationship that you have with your workmates. It also helps control tempers. Placing a figurine of a rooster or the mythical dragon horse known as Chilin’s can help counter petty office politics, negative and counterproductive energy.
Remember, Feng Shui will be useful if you can stand up for yourself when things don’t go the way it should. Feng Shui is an ancient art and science developed over 3000 years ago in China. It is a complex body of knowledge that reveals how to balance the energies and so is very effective.
